Training Details
Targeted Starting Wage: Average starting wage of $20–$22/hour.
Curriculum Focus: Introduction to the field and various roles in Human Services
Training & Certifications: Earn a Northstar Digital Literacy certificate and a Mental Health First Aid certification, learn specialized customer service skills and terminology, and train in business professionalism.
Job Readiness: 1:1 job coaching, career counseling, and employer networking, and internship/job placement support.
Wraparound Support: Participants receive access to work clothes, fuel, bus cards, and other resource navigation services.

Subject to criminal background check as positions vary in policies
