How it works:
Home Visiting Program
For parents with children prenatal to 5 years old, this program offers parenting support, coaching, and engaging family events to boost confidence and well-being.
Family Stability Supports
We connect you to vital resources like childcare assistance, transportation, and nutritional resources.
Transition Support
We help you navigate the period when you become employed and prepare to leave MFIP, ensuring you understand changes in benefits and income.
Financial Wellness Coaching
Access workshops, individual financial coaching, and our matched savings program to build financial literacy and stability.
1. Check Eligibility.
Visit the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families to see if you qualify for MFIP benefits.
How to enroll in MFIP:
2. Apply for Public Assistance.
Complete an application on the State of Minnesota website to initiate the process.
3. County Referral.
You can opt to receive your Employment Services with Hired. Notify your Eligibility Worker during the application process.

This is a program that honors your knowledge and experiences as a parent. It provides peer and coaching support to help you build your skills to parent your children (prenatal to age five), and includes a variety of fun and engaging family events.
