This program is being offered exclusively for current HealthPartners healthcare workers. Hired’s program is offered in partnership with Saint Paul Community College and includes structured coursework to earn a certificate in sterile processing and on-the-job training.

4 weeks of college coursework (2 days/week, Thursdays & Saturdays)
400 hours of on-the-job training to earn credential

Training Benefits
Targeted Starting Wage: Guidance on applying for a position following training completion with an average wage of $25/hour.
Specialized Career Training: Learn sterile processing techniques, infection prevention, medical terminology, instrument handling, and quality standards through classroom instruction and lab-based learning
College Certification: Earn a Sterile Processing Technician certificate from Saint Paul Community College and upon securing new employment complete on-the-job training and Certified Registered Central Services Technician exam for CRCST certification.
Job Readiness: Job coaching and career navigation services
Wraparound Supports: Participants provided with a laptop, work clothes, fuel, bus cards, and other resource navigation services
Enrollment Requirements
Must be 18+ years of age and MN resident
Currently employed at HealthPartners
High School Diploma or GED
Solid reading and communication skills
Seeking to Learn and advance into a new role as a Sterile Processing Technician
Ability to attend all training sessions
