Yevhenii's Story
Yevhenii started his career as an engineer with the local government in Ukraine, aspiring to establish his own company someday. However, after the conflict with Russia began, Yevhenii, his wife, and their child sought refuge in the United States.
They were able to move to Minnesota, and Yevhenii actively searched for work, consulting fellow Ukrainian and Russian immigrants in his community to explore employment options. He eventually found support through Hired while seeking assistance in obtaining his commercial driving license. Yevhenii created a plan and focused on his future goals with his counselor’s support.
Guided by Hired, Yevhenii enrolled in a Commercial Driving License program, navigating through classes that presented significant challenges due to the language barrier. He successfully completed the program through his determination and hard work, earning his CDL.
