Clean-room precision soldering is on the rise in the Twin Cities. HIRED’s and Hennepin Technical College’s nationally renowned M-Powered program gives students in-depth training on state-of-the-art machines, nationally recognized certifications, and strong connections to local employers.

Meet Noble. We found him a job.

Noble was a dislocated worker who came to HIRED for assistance in finding a new job. With the help of his HIRED employment counselor, Noble completed Green Specialist training and HIRED’s Leadership and Retention training program. In January 2012, he was offered a position as an IT Analyst—a job he finds very rewarding.

“HIRED’s name stands for what they do for people,” says Noble. “They get people HIRED.”

Meet Ryan. We found him a job.

I started using HIRED’s job services through St. Barnabas and slowly but surely, I saw my life turn around for the better. I finally had hope for my future.

Through my HIRED counselor, I was offered an internship position with Chef Jeff catering. He has been a great role model to me and I have learned so much about the culinary arts field, life in general and about becoming a man. I see only good things coming in my future. I feel very BLESSED and thankful!

Meet Idil. We found her a job.

I first became involved with HIRED when I was a sophomore at Edison High School. I was living with my aunt at the time and was kicked out of my home.

I went to HIRED and an employment counselor, Patty Armstrong, worked with me and helped me to find housing and a part-time job after school. Patty became like a family to me, providing me with support that I really needed at the time. She helped me choose a path for my life.
