The Metalforming Manufacturing Training
Program, offered through a partnership with Hennepin
Technical College, offers training to jobseekers who would
like to enter the manufacturing industry as well as those
jobseekers who are seeking advanced training for a new
position or career. The program — developed with a grant from the National Association of Manufacturers — grew out of a need for skilled workers in several Twin Cities-based manufacturing plants. The 96-hour training program focuses on classroom training that meets National Institute for Metalworking Skills credential requirements. For more information on HIRED’s
manufacturing special initiative, contact your employment
counselor.
