Watch your mail! HIREDhelps – the twice-annual newsletter from HIRED – will be delivered to your mailbox in mid-December! Among other articles, the upcoming issue of HIREDhelps celebrates HIRED’s 40th anniversary, details one of HIRED’s award-winning youth programs, and reviews HIRED’s efforts at getting out the vote. It also features HIRED’s new customer service training program and highlights the most recent Service Excellence award winners. Erin Loavenbruck, director of development and communications at HIRED, said, “HIREDhelps is our chance to reach those individuals who prefer to receive paper versions of our correspondence. The newsletter has been around for many years, it’s exceptionally well read, and it provides more in-depth information than we can provide via eNews or on the website.” If you haven’t received HIREDhelps in the past, please e-mail Erin Loavenbruck to make sure you’re added to the mailing list.
HIRED Works Version 2.0 “HIRED has such an amazing story to tell,” said Nadine Sehnert, HIRED’s individual giving coordinator and HIRED Works organizer. “It’s up to us to find engaging ways to tell the story, to keep our friends, supporters and partners excited about the life-changing work we’re doing.” The revamped program has been getting rave reviews thus far. Sehnert said, “We really do want people to be a part of the new program. This is a work-in-progress, and we’re looking for feedback and suggestions.” Sehnert added, “And we’re hoping visitors will bring a friend! It is essential to HIRED’s long-term success that we spread the word to others.” The next scheduled HIRED Works programs are on Dec. 10 and Dec. 18.
