Jobs Summit features a moving program, giving attendees a glimpse into the highly personal – and highly effective – work HIRED does with its clients. The program offers the opportunity to hear from those whose lives have been drastically improved because of their relationship with HIRED... from dislocated workers, to youth seeking employment, to those working to transition off welfare. Attendees also hear from employers who have offered employment opportunities to HIRED clients, and who daily see the value these workers bring to their companies and organizations. And from the HIRED counselors who work directly with the wide range of clients, counseling them, training them, and ultimately walking side-by-side with them as they enter – or re-enter – the workforce.
The Jobs Summit Fundraising Breakfast is an opportunity for HIRED to solicit your support by giving you insight into how the organization's work truly changes lives.
Why "Jobs Summit?"
It many ways, it's really quite simple: jobs provide structure and stability for nearly every facet of life. Employment provides income and in many cases health insurance, but it also provides so much more. A sense of accomplishment, self-confidence, purpose and development... all are important, and all come from appropriate employment. HIRED helps provide the services and training people need to obtain – and retain – a stable job.
For 40 years HIRED has been improving the lives of Twin Cities residents by providing personalized and innovative work solutions. The Jobs Summit Fundraising Breakfast is an event where HIRED has the opportunity to tell its story of providing training and services that lead to stable employment.
