HIRED offers a variety of employment assistance programs for adults. Eligibility varies from program to program, and the best way to determine if you are eligible for services is to contact a HIRED job development counselor. Adult programs offer a wide range of employment services — from simple drop-in job search assistance to short-term training assistance.

HIRED offers adult program participants a variety of job search workshops. Workshop topics include resume development, completing applications, professional job search correspondence, interviewing and Internet job search. HIRED's workshops are intensive and tailored to the interests of the participants. We keep the groups small so that each participant gets personal attention and has opportunities to ask questions.

Job clubs and networking groups are also offered to provide participants with an opportunity to share job leads and job search tips. The discussion topics are selected by participants.

HIRED’s programs for low-income adults are supported by the City of Minneapolis, Ramsey County Workforce Solutions, Hennepin County and Dakota County using federal Workforce Investment Act and other funding.
