Refugees and Immigrants

In all of our key program areas, HIRED is committed to assisting refugees and immigrants prepare for and enter employment in the United States. HIRED has more than 15 bilingual staff who collectively speak more than 20 languages, including Spanish, Somali, Arabic, Oromo, Hmong and Vietnamese.

Our counselors work with English as a Second Language (ESL) training providers throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area to help clients find and enroll in classes appropriate to their needs.

We have also arranged for customized vocational ESL programs and other customized occupational training programs to meet the needs of people with limited English skills.
