Helping people find employment is about more than numbers. Workers experiencing a lay-off, MFIP recipients transitioning from welfare to work, youth seeking to enter the job market for the first time — each person has an individual story and unique needs for support, assistance and training.

HIRED counselors work closely with each client to develop a complete picture of all of the factors that contribute to success in finding and retaining employment. They understand that helping a client find a job without considering the impact of housing, transportation, childcare, and other aspects of his or her life, is not likely to lead to good, stable job performance. Since our goal is to help each client find suitable, stable, long-term employment, we must work with our clients in many ways.

We help each client develop an individualized strategy that includes career planning, education and training, internships or other work experiences, and a wide range of support services. For every person we serve, HIRED is there every step of the way.
