In collaboration with colleges and other partners, HIRED offers a number of opportunities for career training. Our programs follow a “sector” model, meaning they have been developed in partnership with local employers to quickly prepare people for in-demand jobs.
HIRED currently offers sector-based job training in five key career areas:
- manufacturing
- health care
- customer service
- green careers: construction
- transportation
The programs are funded by public agencies and a number of private contributors, including the Greater Twin Cities United Way, the Jay & Rose Phillips Family Foundation and Tennant Foundation.
