Election 2010

Under a movement that began in 2004, HIRED’s Government Relations Committee – made up of 12 staff members from across the organization’s 16 locations – has spearheaded efforts to increase citizen engagement in the democratic process. Recognizing that one of the most significant barriers facing low-income people in the voting process is a lack of access to information, HIRED has created this special section of its website to provide information to voters and give updates about the activities of the Government Relations Committee.
