With school bells ringing again, this September HIRED staff members decided to make the back-to-school season a little brighter for low-income families in the Twin Cities.
Together, they contributed $510 to Keystone Community Services to purchase school supplies and other support services for families in need. The effort is part of the organization’s new HIRED Community Gives campaign, in which staff members contribute funds to a different charitable cause each quarter of the year.
Pictured at right with a bounty of school supplies are HIRED Community Gives committee members (front row) Amy Barwick, MayKo Sadler, Carol Aharoni , (back row) Amelia Walicke and Jeff Ambroz. Not pictured is committee member Sara Jelinek. The photo was taken at Keystone’s food shelf on University Avenue in St. Paul, where the school supplies are distributed to families with school-age children.
