Transportation & Customer Service Training Program Graduates Nine Students

Today, nine students graduated from HIRED’s Transportation & Customer Service training program.

During the festivities, HIRED staff members Todd Erickson and Liz Watters commented on the strong bonds the students forged with each over the course of the five week program. 

Pictured are students and instructors at the graduation ceremony for HIRED's transportation training program in June 2012.Through their training, students received customer service credentials from the National Retail Federation, and a wide variety of bus and truck driving licenses and endorsements.  Program manager Judy Swanson noted that the credentials earned by the graduates will help them stand out in the job market, demonstrating to potential employers that the students are well-equipped for a wide range of job duties. 

The graduates will continue to receive job search assistance from HIRED to help them find employment in their new career field.  The program is funded through grants from the Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation and the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
